Visibility and privacy
Choose who can open a snippet or group.

| Public | Everyone; listed on profiles, catalog pages and search |
| Unlisted | Anyone with the link; excluded from search and marked noindex |
| Private | Only the owner |
Public and unlisted content require a username. Private content is never exposed on public pages. Visitors without permission get a 404, the same as a missing page.
Deleting content hides it immediately; an administrator can restore it.
A snippet follows its own visibility. A group page follows the group’s visibility and lists only snippets the visitor may open.
