Copy and fork

Use Share on a snippet or group page to copy its direct link. Public and unlisted links open for anyone with the link; private links open only for the owner.

Copy

Use Copy on a snippet to put the code on your clipboard. Copies are counted at most once per hour per visitor and snippet.

Fork a snippet

On a public snippet, choose Fork. The copy belongs to you, starts as private, and keeps a “Forked from” link to the original. The original fork count increases.

Fork a group

On a public group, choose Fork group. Bits creates a private copy of the group and its public snippets. Private snippets in the original are not copied.

You must be signed in with a username to fork.
