Getting started
What Bits is, and how to set up your account.
Bits is a community for sharing small, reusable code snippets. Every snippet has a primary language, optional dependencies, tags and a visibility setting.
What you can do
- Browse languages and dependencies in the catalog.
- Create snippets, organize them in groups and share them on your public profile.
- Follow authors and find content with the command box or search.
Set up your account
- Sign in from the top-right corner.
- Open Account → Profile and set a username. Your username becomes your public profile URL: /{username}.
- Add a short bio and up to six links if you want them on your profile.
A username is required before you can publish snippets or groups as public or unlisted.
